    Description

    1968 Corvette Stingray prototype 1/18 scale radio control. Extremely rare. Made exclusively for Associated Hobby Manufacturers Inc. of Philadelphia Pa. by IMAI Japan. For Corvette collectors this would be a real find. Also cool as an example of an early remote control model. As a toy it really isn't much fun to play with for kids today. It's not designed to crash into things. It doesn't go fast or backward. Push the transmitter - right turn -push again - car goes forward - push again - left turn and push again it stops. Requires 9 Volt battery (not included). Also comes with the original user manual which is a hoot in itself especially their suggestions on how to play with the car. NOTE: The orange colored material at the base of the antenna on the car appears to be deteriorating (softening) from age. Also the headlight cover on the right side doesn't close all the way unless the weight is taken off that tire. The box is in poor condition.  See Pics.
