Dedicated to the means of navigation equipment - lighthouses. In Ukraine, located at the intersection of the trade routes of Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean basin and having more than 2,500 km of coastline, there are dozens of lighthouses, each with its own name, history and shape. Lighthouses not only perform the function of ensuring navigation, but also are the property of the national cultural heritage of Ukraine.
On the obverse of the coin there are: at the top - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (under the emblem), 2021 (to the right of the emblem); in the center - composition: against the background of stylized waves - a fragment of the map of Ukraine, on the shoreline of which dots mark the lighthouses; denomination of the coin - 5 / ГРИВЕНЬ (below on a mirror background); logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the right of the map).
On the reverse of the coin is placed: in the center on the background of the compass limb - the image of a wind rose, symbolizing the right choice of path and its happy completion, around which on the background of stylized waves depicts beacons and their names: СТАНІСЛАВ-/АДЖИГОЛЬСЬКИЙ ЗАДНІЙ (top left), ЗМІЇНИЙ (left), ЄВПАТОРІЙСЬКИЙ (bottom left), МЕГАНОМСЬКИЙ (bottom), ІЛЛІНСЬКИЙ (bottom right), БИРЮЧИЙ (right); above - seagulls and the inscription МАЯКИ/УКРАЇНИ.
