Dedicated to one of the animals of the twelve-year Eastern calendar.
On the obverse of the coin there are: at the top – a small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which is a semicircular inscription УКРАЇНА; on a mirror background in a circle there are 12 symbols of the Eastern calendar, in the center of the circle there is a stylized clock with an arrow pointing to a bull – a symbol of the year, under the arrow – 2021; bottom left inscription in a semicircle 5 ГРИВЕНЬ; on a matte background the symbols of each season are stylized under the Ukrainian vytynanka: a snowflake (above), a flower (on the right), a berry (below), a leaf (on the left); logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the left of the rabbit symbol).
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized symbol of the Eastern calendar of 2021 – a bull, which is surrounded by a circle of stylized symbols inherent in each season: snowflakes (top right), flowers (bottom right), fruits (bottom left), branches (top left).
