The event, which marked the millennial path of the Ukrainian church from creation to independence, was dedicated to the donation of Tomos to the autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. Tomos, the text of which was approved by the Bishops' Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, officially approves the canonical autocephalous status of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine as one of 15 local orthodox churches.
On the obverse there are the following coins: the Small State Emblem of Ukraine (left), the inscription: UKRAINE, the year of issue of the coin 2019 and the face value of PYATADAYYA Hryvnia; in the center - a stylized cruciform composition, topped by a gilded seal Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew around in gilded medallions depict Cathedrals local Orthodox churches in the world, next to these their names: above Constantinople, beneath Alexandria, right Antioch, beneath Jerusalem (right), during She is RUSSIAN, on the left there is Serbs, underneath it ROMANSK, below BULGARISK, on the left of GEORGIAN, on her CYPRUS, on the left ELLADSK, in the top of POLAND, above her ALBANSK, on the right, CZECH X LAND AND SLOVAKIA, UKRAINIAN BEFORE IT.
