    Ukraine,5 hryven 725 years in Rivne Nickel 2008 year
    Dedicated to the regional center, located on the river Ustya - the city of Rivne. It was first mentioned in 1283 as a city of the Galicia-Volyn principality in connection with the battle that took place between the troops of Krakow's Prince Leszko Chorno and Lithuanian Prince Witten.
    The obverse of the coin depicts a composition of the historical and architectural monuments of the city, including the monument to Mary Rivne Nesvitskaya, the Assumption Church, St. Pokrovsky Cathedral, etc., above - the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription semicircle NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE / 5 GRIVEN / 2008 and the National Bank of Ukraine Mint logo (right).
    The reverse of the coin features a stylized parchment scroll depicting a scene of a battle between the Polish and Lithuanian troops, with a reference to which the city's chronicle begins. To the right and left of the scroll is a stylized ornament with the coat of arms of the city (left) and the inscription 725 / YEARS (right); at the bottom of the semicircle the inscription - FIRST WRITTEN MENTION.
