Dedicated to the city, first mentioned in 1100, the center of the principality in Volhynia - the city of Dubno (Duben), which in all historical times was at the crossroads of important historical and political events, trade routes, one of the centers of spiritual life. Dubno as a city was built by the princes of Ostroh - powerful and influential people in the political arena of Europe in the fifteenth and seventeenth centuries.
