    Dedicated to the ancient Galician city, one of the largest centers of Kievan Rus. Galich was the capital of the Galician principality and the Galician-Volyn state, an outstanding economic, political and cultural center, which developed crafts, trade, civil and church construction, and the Galician-Volyn Chronicle was compiled.
