    For your consideration is a solid dark crystal opal (N5) from Lightning Ridge, Australia. It features moderately bright (2.8/5) royal blue in a somewhat directional broadflash pattern.  This nicely domed, round-cut stone measures 12mm in diameter by 4mm high.  Clean and blemish-free face up, with some minor clay spots on back.
    As ever, this is ALL-NATURAL, un-treated gemstone, mined from the earth.
    PLEASE NOTE: you are looking at enlarged images of a small gemstone. Flaws or blemishes may not be visable to the naked eye!  White lines or spots that do not remain in the same place are reflections from the highly polished surface.
