This is a natural abalone shell that was highly polished and then given a lacquer finish. The interior has quite brilliant colors. On the back side, an artist has hand painted a rooster.  It is very detailed to show feathers, a beak and points on head.
This shell is in good condition with
no
chips, cracks or missing pieces. It has been hand painted on one side and there was a hole drilled in the bottom edge (maybe to mount it someplace). We are a nonsmoking home/shop and there are no odors on this piece.
eBay now has started to collect sales tax from some states. We have nothing to do with it. Buyers are responsible for checking eBay policy on sales tax. eBay will be adding more states to the collection list in the future. Any questions on sales tax would be to eBay and not us.
