This is a dedicated HIFI Digi+ expansion board (HiFi Digi+) designed for Raspberry Pi B+/A+, using Wolfson's high-end digital chip (WM8804G), using I2S interface, not USB interface; after using this expansion board, users can
Cooperate with audio playback system (such as: volumio, xbmc system, etc.) to build your own network HIFI player; the expansion board provides two output interfaces of optical fiber (S/PDIF) and coaxial (RCA) to facilitate external power amplifiers and other equipment

The digital chip adopts Wolfson's high-end WM8804G chip, using I2S interface; supports 16 to 24-bit audio data format; distortion and dynamics are very ideal, supporting a high sampling rate of 192kHz, and
advanced material reduction technology
can control the intrinsic period jitter within 50ps RMS

The PCB board adopts a high-grade gold-plated process, and the arc-shaped traces better ensure the impedance continuity of the signal and reduce signal reflection and refraction

The output port adopts optical fiber and coaxial output, which is convenient for users to connect external power amplifier

Support hardware control of volume (I2C interface)

The power supply is powered by Raspberry Pi, no external power supply is required; and a π-type filter power supply design is used to effectively reduce the interference of the power supply
