DAC chip is ES9038Q2M which is the latest from ESS, It is successor of ES9028Q2M,Much better than other DAC chip such as PCM5102
Professional I2S processing chip to convert DOP signal to DSD stream, Support I2S and PCM 16/24/ 32bit audio.
Support 32BIT/44.1-384KHZ PCM audio and DSD64/DSD128 stream, No shock noise while switching audio formats.
Raspberry Pi deliver signal through I2S connection, playing music, It is very smooth and flawless,Also live and natural, Much better than USB transmit.
Use general version of VOLUMIO, MOODE, Set the I2S-DAC mode to HiFiberry DAC to play.

Adopting imported NDK NZ2520SD high precision oscillator to provide high quality low phase noise clock signal for ES9038Q2M

Power supply:  5V power of the DAC is connected to 40 pin interface of Raspberry Pi, So there is two ways use the DAC board
(users can only use one of them, DO NOT connected the Micro-USB and DC power jack at same time,Or it will cause damage!!!)
A. Power Raspberry Pi with micro-USB power input,Then DAC board share power from Raspberry Pi.
B. Power ES9038Q2M dac board through DC jack input, Then Raspberry Pi share power from DAC board.

Current comsupation of DAC board: 250ma ( not included Raphberry Pi)
