These quality elk leather hides are tanned using a method that emulates the traditional brain-tanning process. The project pieces are cut from a full hide.
This listing is for a 14" by 14" piece.
Please note : This is NOT a full hide but instead a small project piece.
These commercial brain-tanned hides have a smoky smell and are as supple as regular brain-tanned leather.
Elk are not an endangered species, and are not killed just for their skins.
Tanned in the U.S. by Americans from U.S. elk.
