It is dedicated to a separate type of forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which includes special purpose units and units of informational and psychological special operations, staffed by highly qualified specialists.
Which are capable of performing complex, dangerous, sometimes politically sensitive operations in the fields of intelligence, protection of citizens' lives and state-owned objects outside Ukraine, combating illegal arms trafficking, terrorism and piracy, organizing and maintaining the actions of the resistance movement, security of maritime shipping, international military cooperation, etc.
The slogan of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was chosen as the battle slogan of Svyatoslav Khorobroy "I'm coming for you!", which in modern times has become a symbol of valor, courage and nobility of soldiers ready to defend the Motherland.
The obverse of the coin features: in the center, on a mirror background, the emblem of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, to the right of which is the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine; inscriptions: at the top - UKRAINE, at the bottom - denomination of 10 HRYVNA and year of coin minting 2022; logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the left of the denomination).
On the reverse of the coin there is a symbolic composition: on the background of the outline of the image of Svyatoslav the Brave with a sword and a shield, a soldier of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is depicted; the inscription around the circle: SPECIAL OPERATIONS FORCES OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE.
