*****PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE FOLLOWING******
My
family and I have been professionally tanning animal hides for well over 60 years. We have a proven method second to none. ALL the skins you see in our products are skins that we ourselves tan into real leather. Our skins can be rolled up and shelved for years and still be like the day you put it on the shelve.
We
take extreme pride and time to make sure every hide is done correctly and over board to save even the worst of skins that arrive at our shop. When you have one of our skins you know it is super quality otherwise we would never have used them in our products period!
We
depend on our skins for our products. We could not afford to have our hand made items come back because the skins failed and have a lot of repeat customers who buy our products as gifts.
Our tanning secret:
WE NEVER
use glycerin, salt, alcohol, acid, heavy metals or any other garbage on our skins. This is NOT tanning but preserving. Please do not get the two processes mixed up..True tanning is taking a skin from a protein state to a non protein state, preserving can NEVER do this!
We use Eupatorium capillifolium. Okay, that is Dogfennel a perennial herbaceous plant in the sunflower family that naturally grows here in Florida. SO if you have any questions please feel free to ask!
