This is a great, commercially tanned, grain-on, sheepskin leather hide that has been dyed in our popular braintan color.  The slight color variation and small imperfections gives this new hide a great old time look.
These hide measures 10 square feet, is 3-4
oz. in weight (thickness) and is nice and pliable.
We buffed down the suede to make it nice and even so you could use either side of the hide.
We like the suede so much we hand wrote the size on the edge so there are no footage stamps getting in the way!

It is a great lower cost alternative to deerskin.  This leather can be used for many of the same projects.
Remember...you will receive the hide shown in the listing not just one pulled off a pile.
You will find tons of uses for this piece of leather in your Native American, black powder, SASS cowboy, taxidermy and many other craft projects.
These will be great for moccs, flute bags, pipe bags, regalia, buckskin clothing, leather laces, medicine bags,etc.
These are craft grade hides so some natural blemishes, holes, color variation, etc., are to be expected.

We ship most of our orders via Priority Mail.  We have found this to be the fastest and most secure method.  We do offer first class shipping on some items.  If it is an option it will be available in the shipping calculator or you will be notified when we send your invoice.
