    Just a few examples of what can be done with our leather
    Braintan
    This hide measures 6 3/4 square feet, is 2-2.5 oz. in weight (thickness) and is soft and pliable. The grain has been buffed down (but not removed) to give it a soft matte feel/finish.
    A little extra oil is added to these commercially tanned buckskin hides to make them extra soft without losing any of their strength. Then they are dyed this great braintan color.
    The grain side of this hide has multiple blemishes so it is better suited for the suede side.  The footage marks are hand written on the edge so are no footage stamps in the way.
    These suede side is what is shown in the photo.
    These will be great for bags, regalia pieces, handle wraps, linings, etc.
    These are craft grade hides that are made to resemble old time brain tanned hides so some blemishes, etc., are to be expected.
    Remember...you will receive the hide shown in the listing not just one pulled off a pile.
