Apogee ONE IOS : a solution to many mobile recording inconveniences.
TL;DR = 4/5 stars: A well built made in the USA unit, that excels at ease of use, passable DAC quality and good preamp, all in a size that makes it easy to do mixing and quick overdubbing in any situation without having to unpack a flight case worth of gear. Also: If you need better conversion for mixing and reference but no need for inputs for tracking, I recommend the Apogee Groove. Full review:

An indispensable tool for songwriters at a great value
I didn’t have a great experience with the Duet 2, so I was cautious about going with Apogee again, but this thing is everything I need, has nothing I don’t and is a terrific value if you snag one used. Highly recommended.

Least expensive way to do high quality voice
Works well. Doesn’t work with regular batteries for some reason, needs rechargeable. But that is apparently a known issue and not just my unit.

Pristine sound in a very portable unit
Apogee stuff sounds incredible although the drivers are not as good as RME. For the Mac, it integrates beautifully despite the minor hiccups
