It is dedicated to one of the pages of the Ukrainian cultural heritage - works of carpet art of Poltava region, which are characterized by a special stylization of plant floral motifs in the form of broken branches with flowers and leaves. Reshetyliv masters of weaving, carpet weaving and embroidery have been known throughout Ukraine since the end of the 19th century. Traditions of plant carpet weaving Reshetylivka, a real treasure trove of Ukrainian folk art, in 2017 were included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
On the obverse of the coin are placed: in the center on a mirror background of the outline of the landscape - a small State Emblem of Ukraine (left), the tree of life - a traditional symbol in the ornamentation of Ukrainian woven carpets, towels, Easter eggs, etc .; on the right there is a denomination - 5, on the background of stylized carpets there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА (on the left), ГРИВЕНЬ (on the right); below - the year of coinage - 2021; in the center, to the right of the tree of life - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The reverse of the coin depicts the composition: on the left - a mirror outline of the weaver's work, on the right - a colored fragment of the carpet and the inscription in a semicircle: РЕШЕТИЛІВСЬКЕ КИЛИМАРСТВО (on a mirror background).
