Dedicated to a law enforcement body of special purpose, which is tasked with ensuring the inviolability of the state border and protection of the sovereign rights of Ukraine in its adjacent zone and the exclusive (maritime) economic zone. One of the responsibilities of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is to participate in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations in repelling an invasion or attack on the territory of Ukraine by the armed forces of another state or group of states.
On the obverse of the coin there are: at the top - a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which the inscription UKRAINE; in the center - the emblem of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; below the inscription - 10 / UAH / 2020; stylized branches: laurel (right), viburnum (left). The logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine is located at the bottom left.
On the reverse of the coin there are: above the inscriptions - STATE / BORDER / SERVICE OF UKRAINE, under which - the outline of the map of Ukraine, below - a symbolic border pillar, right and left - compositions symbolizing the activities of the State Border Service in the air, on land and land.
