Dedicated to the Owl, a magnificent - rare species of insect (row - Lepidoptera, family Noctuidae), an endangered species included in the Red Book of Ukraine. In Ukraine it is found locally in Polissya, in the Forest-Steppe, Steppe and Crimea (Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Sumy, Cherkasy, Luhansk, Kharkiv regions, ).
On the obverse of the coin in the frame of a wreath formed from images of certain species of flora and fauna, there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: UKRAINE / 2 / HRYVNI / 2020 and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
The reverse of the coin on a mirror background shows a colored luxury scoop (pad printing is used) and inscriptions in a semicircle: Совка розкішна  (top right), STAUROPHORA CELSIA (bottom left).
