    It is dedicated to witnessing historical events on the territory of the Galician land, the bastion castle-fortress built in the first half of the 17th century - the Zolochiv Castle, which is a non-Dutch type of defense structures. Situated on a low hill, the castle used to be for defense and housing, that is, palazzo in fortezzo. The defensive structures of Zolochiv Castle are the ramparts, bastions, the gate tower, the bridge and the Ravelin. The Renaissance ensemble is made up of the Tower of Towers, the Great Residential and Chinese palaces, which are one of the few examples of oriental architecture in Ukrainian lands. Zolochevsky Castle - Museum-Reserve of the National Gallery of Arts named after Boris Voznytsky? is a part of the Golden Horseshoe Lviv tourist route.
    On the obverse of the coin are placed: at the top - a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which is inscribed UKRAINE; the coin minting year 2020 is indicated above the coat of arms; on the right and left on the coin are the towers through which a stylized panorama of the castle is visible; below is the face value - 5 / UAH; bottom right? Banknote and Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.
    The reverse of the coins shows the inner courtyard of the castle - in the foreground a fountain and a sculptural composition of three cupids, in the background a Chinese palace, to the left of which is the statue of Neptune, to the right - the statue of Aphrodite; the inscriptions are written: ZOLOCHIVSKY CASTLE (at the bottom of the semicircle), XVII century.
