Dedicated to the historic area, full of glorious Cossack traditions, in the center of which is one of its colors - the Holy Trinity Monastery of Motrony. Cold Yar is a relic forest (Kamensky district of Cherkassy region), where among the most famous natural monuments is the millennial oak, named in honor of Maxim Zalizniak. This area has preserved many archaeological sites of different ages. It was from the Cold Yar in the spring of 1768 that the social and national liberation movement of 1768-1769 began in the Right-Bank Ukraine - Kolyivshchyna.
In the 1840s, Taras Shevchenko visited here, mentioning the Cold Yar in the poetic works Haydamaky and the Cold Yar. In 1919–1922, the insurgents of the Kholodnoyarsk Republic operated under the flag of the Ukrainian People's Republic.

On the reverse of the coin there is a composition reminiscent of the relic forest: above and below, from the perspective of the human's perspective upwards, the trees, whose tops stretch to the yellow-green circle (the tampon print used), is depicted in the center of the coin symbolizing the leaves and the sun; to the left and to the right are horses with horsemen, which symbolize the liberation struggle of the Haydamakchyna and the Hollowayar Republic; beneath the trees?
