Dedicated to the Winter Paralympic Games of 2018, held in the South Korean city of Pyongchang from 09 to 18 March. The Ukrainian national team in these competitions was represented by 33 athletes who won 22 awards: seven golds, seven silver and eight bronze medals and ranked sixth in the overall ranking of games and fourth in the total number of medals.
On the obverse of the coin, on a mirror background, there are stylized three medals with yellow-and-blue ribbons (used tampodruk); to the left of which in the matte background there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which the inscriptions: UKRAINE / 2 ГРИВНІ, to the right are the year of issue of the coin 2018, the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coin depicted a paralympic during the competition, on the left - on a matte background, the logo of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine; In the top there are inscriptions: ХІІ WINTER PARALIMPIYSKII GAMES 2018 / COLLECTIVE UKRAINE / 22 MEDALS.
