    Dedicated to the autonomous administrative-territorial unit in the south of Ukraine, located on the Crimean peninsula, which is washed by the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. Crimea has a huge resort-recreational potential, which provides natural resort factors and unique landscapes, is famous for numerous archeological, historical, cultural, architectural and urban remnants. The rich history of Crimea and the peoples that formed its present ethnic identity - Ukrainians, Crimean Tatars, Russians, Greeks, Armenians and other ethnic and ethnoconfessional communities. In 2014, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was insidiously occupied by the Russian Federation. Forcible annexation of the Crimea is not recognized by the Ukrainian state and the international community, who consider the peninsula to be temporarily occupied by the territory. A memorable coin continues a series devoted to the regions and territorial structure of our state.
    On the obverse of the coin there is the insignia: the small State Emblem of Ukraine, circle inscribed: NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), FIVE HIRS (below), on the right - the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; in the center there is a composition symbolizing Crimea: Bear Mountain (Ayu-Dag), to the right of which is the year of issue of the coin 2018; On the background of the stylized waves - an ancient ship, under which - the Khan's palace in Bakhchisarai, a gazebo in Chersonese, where the baptism of Prince Vladimir (left) took place, beneath it - bunch of grapes, amphora, Tatar and antique coins, flowers of mountain lavender.
    The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized Ukrainian map on the background of an ornament from the product `Taril 'by Rustem Skibin, in circle there are the inscriptions: AUTONOMOUS REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA (top), UKRAINE (below).
