It is devoted to honoring the courage and heroism of the defenders of the Donetsk airport - `` cyborgs`` who defended it for 242 days, which became a symbol of a selfless struggle for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
On the obverse of the coin there is: the upper left is the inscription УКРАЇНА (semicircular), under which the year of issue of the coin (2018) and the small State Emblem of Ukraine; in the center there is a stylized composition: two men's arms with weapons of different eras, symbolizing defenders of Ukraine of different times; on the mirror background inscriptions: ЗА ЧЕСТ! FOR THANKS! FOR THE PEOPLE !; Below to the left - denomination 10 / ГРИВЕНЬ on the stylized shield fragment; to the right is the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coin there is a stylized composition depicting the defender of the airport against the background of a dilapidated tower over which the Ukrainian flag flies; to the right - bullet fittings with vertical inscriptions: KIBORGY
