    Dedicated to the "steps" - a modest monetary sign of the Ukrainian People's Republic equaling 1/100 hryvnia and was issued in the form of brands at the nominal value of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 steps. The steps were pre-conceived only as postage stamps. But in the time of the Central Council in Ukraine there was a sharp shortage of small payment signs, the need for which grew month in a month. On the basis of the law of the Central Council of April 18, 1918, marks were issued, which were used instead of coins that disappeared from circulation.
